We may collect information about your organization and your construction-market preferences, such as organization name, business type, location, target geographies, markets, trades, project preferences, and alert settings.

Billing and transaction information

When you purchase a subscription, pass, or other paid service, we and our payment processor may collect transaction and billing information. Payment card information is handled by the applicable payment processor rather than being stored directly by KonektSignal as raw card data.

Usage and technical information

When you use the Services, we may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages or features accessed, authentication events, searches, saved preferences, alerts, interactions, and diagnostic, security, and performance information.

Communications

If you contact us, request support, respond to a communication, or otherwise communicate with KonektSignal, we may retain the content of those communications and related contact information.

Business and professional information

As part of our construction opportunity intelligence services, we may process business and professional information from official public sources, public websites, company websites, licensed data providers, and other lawful sources. This may include company names, professional roles, business contact details, project relationships, and related construction-market information.

• create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts;
• provide and operate the Services;
• manage organizations, memberships, permissions, and access rights;
• personalize opportunity matching, searches, preferences, and alerts;
• process purchases, subscriptions, billing, and access entitlements;

• deliver transactional, service, security, and account communications;
• provide permitted marketing communications and measure their effectiveness;
• detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;

• develop and evaluate KonektSignal features and intelligence systems;

• create aggregated or de-identified analytics that do not reasonably identify an individual.

3. AI and Automated Processing

KonektSignal uses artificial intelligence and automated systems in portions of the Services, including to organize and normalize construction information, assist with matching and scoring, identify relevant signals, summarize evidence, support research, and assist certain communications and workflows.

Information processed by these systems may include account context, organization preferences, construction-market information, business information, and content necessary to perform the requested function. We use service providers where appropriate to support these capabilities and handle information subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

KonektSignal and service providers supporting the Services may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, preferences, functionality, analytics, and performance.

Browser controls may allow you to restrict certain cookies. Disabling cookies that are necessary for authentication or core functionality may prevent portions of the Services from working correctly.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We may provide information to vendors that perform services for us, such as hosting, database, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, AI, infrastructure, security, and related technology services.
• Organization members. Information associated with an organization may be visible to authorized members or administrators of that organization where necessary to provide the Services.
• Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, governmental requests, enforce our agreements, or protect KonektSignal, our users, or others.
• Business transactions. Information may be transferred or disclosed in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
• At your direction. We may disclose information when you direct or authorize us to do so.

KonektSignal does not sell your account personal information for money. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

6. Payment Information

Payment transactions are processed through third-party payment services. Those providers process payment credentials according to their own privacy policies and security requirements. KonektSignal may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription information, billing contact information, and limited payment-method details necessary to administer purchases and accounts.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed despite our safeguards.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, complete transactions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information where it no longer reasonably identifies you.

9. Communications and Marketing Choices

We may send service-related communications necessary to operate your account, such as authentication, billing, security, support, and important product notices.

Where we send marketing communications, you may use the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication or contact us to request that marketing communications stop. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service messages.
